ZF-82 is an ultra-fine, high-purity natural brucite magnesium hydroxide, representing a premium tier within the mineral-sourced product range with purity and particle fineness that approach synthetic grade performance at competitive cost.

With a magnesium hydroxide content of ≥90% and a median particle size (d50) of 2.5 μm, ZF-82 offers finer dispersion than standard brucite grades, resulting in improved mechanical strength and more uniform flame-retardant performance across the compound cross-section. Hunter whiteness of ≥95 and low chloride content (Cl⁻ ≤ 0.01%) make ZF-82 suitable for applications with colour and electrical performance requirements.

Excellent processing flowability supports high-loading compounding without excessive viscosity increase, maintaining practical melt processing windows. The endothermic decomposition mechanism delivers effective smoke suppression alongside flame retardancy.

Compatible with thermoplastic and crosslinked polyolefins, PVC, elastomers, and engineering plastics. Multiple surface treatment grades are available for targeted performance optimisation across specific polymer systems and fire test targets.
