ZF-73 is a natural brucite magnesium hydroxide refined from high-quality mineral deposits, offering a cost-effective halogen-free flame-retardant solution for polyolefin, PVC, and elastomer compounds.

With a magnesium hydroxide content of ≥82% and a median particle size (d50) of 3.5 μm, ZF-73 delivers good flame retardancy and mechanical performance at a lower cost than synthetically precipitated alternatives. Hunter whiteness of ≥92 and low chloride content (Cl⁻ ≤ 0.01%) support use across a broad range of polymer systems. The product is characterised by excellent flow properties that facilitate high-loading compounding operations.

ZF-73 is suitable for applications where filler loadings above typical thresholds are acceptable and where cost efficiency is a primary procurement consideration — without sacrificing the fundamental halogen-free and smoke-suppression performance required.

Compatible with thermoplastic and crosslinked polyolefins, PVC, elastomers, and engineering plastics. A wide range of surface treatment grades — A, D, F, J, M, N, S, and X — are available to improve hydrophobicity, smoke density, elongation at break, and processing flowability for specific application requirements.
